Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Certification:
Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT - R). Licensure:
State licensure or certification as required by the state of practice.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and relevant software. ; Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach. Attention to Detail:
Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain accurate records. Professionalism:
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards. Physical Requirements:

Diagnostic Imaging:
Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Patient Care:
Greet and prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination. Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including ensuring its proper functioning and performing routine quality control checks. Image Quality:
Produce high-quality diagnostic images by adjusting equipment settings as needed and ensuring patients are properly positioned. Radiation Safety:
Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks to patients, yourself, and colleagues. Documentation:
Maintain accurate patient records, including images, exam details, and relevant clinical information, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Communication:
Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss patient histories and provide preliminary findings as needed. Communicate effectively with patients to explain the imaging process. Continuing Education:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiologic technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development. Quality Improvement:
