Summary:


In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.


We are seeking a Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our SI&T team in Massachusetts. In this role, the engineer will work providing integration and test support to our customers, collaborating closely as part of a cross-disciplinary team to support program milestones and objectives. This role will require system integration & test skillsets to support the planning and execution for the integration & testing of Program Protection solutions within our products. This domain includes holistic security solutions that leverage Anti-Tamper (AT), Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management.


This position is an onsite role.


Responsibilities to Anticipate:


  • Support integration and test of hardware, firmware, software and networks and ensuring they meet system and security requirements
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with software, hardware, and networks
  • Perform data analysis to support issue identification and resolution
  • Obtain and maintain access as required by program
  • Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives. Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire is required

Basic
Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with systems integration and test for Department of Defense system, including:
    • Test procedure development and execution
    • Test scripting development and test automation
    • Experience troubleshooting and debugging product
    • Experience documenting findings
  • Experience in the fields of computer technology Reverse Engineering, Cryptography, Anti-Tamper, or Embedded Security.
  • Experience in test planning and execution for Program Protection and/or Anti-Tamper
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred
Qualifications:


  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with identifying, measuring, mitigating, reporting and monitoring issues related to system security.
  • Working knowledge of DoDI-5230.28
  • Experience in at least one of the following: commercial-off-the-shelf security technologies, embedded security, or system security engineering
  • Experience with cryptographic concepts and applications
  • Cyber certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
