Work environment, Projects, & Team Overview

Overview of work environment/workspace Inside temperature controlled environment with ESD / Lab Coats required How will this role interact and support the team? Size of team? This role will provide overarching QA support including directing implementation of QA/QC practices into the manufacturing process, drive standard work, monitor staff performance; including aligning staff to appropriate areas based on skills/capabilities. This role is essential to perform 1st shift final operational test/verification (system), support Factory Acceptance Testing (with/without customer), final paperwork/packaging review prior to shipment and perform supplier audits/qualification. This person will manage CARs/SCARs for the facility; RCCA training (as needed); and update Quality documents for the facility. Details of the project this role will support B220 Desktop Explosives and Drug Trace Detector for commercial airports. What have others done to succeed in this position? Have a willingness to learn new things, possess skills in metrology and receiving inspection, prior experience in laboratory or technical field using chemicals proves useful, prior experience with statistical process control, measurement gauges of all types, good customer and communication skills at all levels, good positive attitude and work ethic. What do you foresee as the biggest challenge of this assignment/role? There is a lot of work to get completed in a short period of time - the candidate must be able to process large amounts of information and determine what is important quickly.
