SADID/Systems Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Systems Architecture Design and Integration Directorate (SADID). Supporting this mission are teams providing domain expertise and creative solutions in surveillance, naval and missile defense based radar system design, sonar and undersea sensor system design, integrated air and missile defense systems engineering, command and control/battle management system design, combat system and platform architecture design and integration, operational analysis and simulation modeling research and development, software intensive system engineering, cyber solutions and algorithm development for signal processing, tracking and discrimination systems. Domain Expertise includes Radar Systems, Effector Systems, Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications, Network Design, Battlespace Integration and Inter-operability for Domestic and International Customers. Job Description: Technical tasks may include signal processing/electronic protection/search/track/discrimination algorithm development, performance assessment trade studies, and analysis of sensor signal and data processing subsystems. Assignments focus on developing competency and contribution to program requirements definition, sub-system integration and test, and algorithm design. Systems Engineers will use MATLAB regularly to conduct data analyses and are expected to document and present technical results using standard Microsoft Office tools. The engineer should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment. Engineer will develop the technical acumen in the following Radar/Sensing areas: Algorithm Development Signal Processing and Waveform Design Electronic Protection Methods Phased Array Technology Tracking and Discrimination Radar Search Design Statistical and Numerical Analysis of Radar Data Target and Threat Modeling Hardware in-the- Loop Integration Radar Scheduling Required Skills: Minimum 2+ years overall engineering experience working with MATLAB tools Experience in requirements development and/or design of system level software architecture Proven experience in the development, documentation, and maintaining processes, methods and tools Proven experience with customer interface and leading technical solutions to complex user requirements ID: 585354 Type: Contract Salary: Open

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
