Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer Position Title:
Senior Electrical Engineer I or Senior Electrical Engineer II This position needs an active Security Clearance within one year of hire.
Position Description:
The primary responsibilities are the development, implementation, and integration of test capabilities utilizing test equipment hardware and software technologies.
A test equipment design engineer who has experience in a variety of technologies (digital, analog, RF, and/or power supply test) and a desire to apply those skills in a combination of hardware and/or software test solutions.
You will be joining a diverse project team whose goal is to design, develop, and integrate test equipment and test solutions for systems, sub-systems, and components of the various programs (radar, sonar, communication, missile, and combat control systems).
These products can contain a variety of hardware and software technologies; for example:
digital, analog, RF, microwave, acoustic, high power, embedded firmware, signal processing, VHDL, etc.
Test equipment design engineers can be involved in all aspects of prime product design, verification, and production by providing a variety of test equipment hardware and software support.
We provide solutions to provide stimulus and response measurement environments to verify functional performance.
Our test solutions can include the following technologies:
hardware in the loop, custom automatic test stations, commercial automatic test stations, common test stations with automation, high power, mixed-signal, digital, RF, environmental stress screening systems, mechanical holding fixtures, adapters, and interface cabling and harnessing.
Basic Qualifications:

in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; B.
S.
in Electronic Engineering Technology 4
years' experience in engineering design and development with 2
years of direct exposure to test equipment design and development
Qualifications:
CMMI and 6 sigma experiences.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to work as a member of a team Certified in or ability to be certified in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Digital, Analog, RF, and/or Power Supply test hardware and/or software design experience with use of commercial test and measurement equipment VXI / VME / MXI / PXI / Compact PCI application development Use of commercial test and measurement equipment VHDL and embedded system design knowledge Experience with National Instruments TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, and/or LabVIEW Software applications / programming skills Strong knowledge of SQL programming Keywords:
