Supply Chain Capacity Planning, Systems and Processes Manager

In the role of Supply Chain Capacity Planning, Systems and Processes Manager, you will be responsible for division-wide capacity planning, supply chain planning analytics, and continuous improvement of processes. You will be responsible for monitoring division asset capacities within the guardian process. We look for you to establish and sustain monthly evaluation of the demand and supply plans to determine impacts to capacity by maintaining medium and long-range capacity plans. You will develop reporting on monitoring new critical metrics - PTP (performance to promise), SC Plan compliance, Inventory Target Adherence, etc. - as well as driving continuous improvement to the demand and supply planning processes.   Day to Day Responsibilities: Run monthly capacity planning process and align partners (Plant & Business teams) on data assumptions with demand and manufacturing. Lead semi-annual Guardian meetings to provide visibility to leadership teams. Drive improvements to supply chain planning KPI/business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools. Develop supply chain analytics, models, and decision support tools for inventory optimization and medium/long-range capacity analysis. Find opportunities and lead process improvement projects across Demand & Supply Planning globally. Assist the project team with the roll out of SAP IBP, MS BI Analytics, Inventory optimization, supply planning and plant scheduling tools across the division by identifying planning standard methodologies and guiding set-up of planning policies and parameters. Develop and conduct training sessions on supply and demand planning. Drive development of master data processes and governance to ensure reliable performance of supply chain planning systems. Maintain current knowledge on industry and supply chain planning standard methodologies. Represent supply chain on key project teams (Gemstones) to ensure the design and implementation plans effectively address all key customer requirements. Leadership: Establish and lead a culture focused on customers, quality, service and cost with continuous improvement and lean activities. Ensure clear articulation of priorities, targets, metrics and accountabilities to the cross functional team. Drive operational excellence with focus on process management and the use of performance excellence tools Criteria for Performance Evaluation. MBOs as defined by immediate supervisor. Maintenance of Guardian cadences. Monthly capacity reviews.   Performance Metrics: Customer satisfaction performance objectives (strong customer relationships). Operations' effectiveness and excellence at local and global level. Effective communication within and outside Division supply chain group. Level of execution on project and non-project work. Delivery of accurate supply plans to the plants. Delivery of accurate medium/long term capacity plans to the plants.   Leadership: This role will have two direct reports.   Travel Requirements: 25% domestic and potential for international.   Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Monday - Friday, standard business hours.   Required Education: Bachelor's degree. Prefer Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or similar discipline.   Required Years and Area of Experience: Minimum of 7 years Supply Chain planning experience.   Required Skills: Mastery of supply chain strategy standard methodologies and philosophy in optimizing operations. Leading cross-functional global teams to deliver results. Strong knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and processes (supply, demand, and inventory planning). Familiarity and working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft Preferred) and MS Office applications required. Understanding of project management concepts and hands on experience as both a team member and leader. Advanced Excel, Access and Power Point skills.   Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills: Master's in Business or Supply Chain Management. Prior leadership or supervisionexperience. APICS (CPIM/ CSCP or equivalent) strongly preferred. LEAN or Six Sigma Certification or equivalent experience.   Soft Skills: Ability to work without direct supervision and set own work direction within the context of the position. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
